Rachelle Brooks has had over 20 years of ballet training and has enjoyed opportunities to perform here in Utah as well as in Idaho and Washington state. In 2007, Rachelle began to pursue her Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree from Utah Valley University under full scholarship. Rachelle’s initial performance opportunity was with Utah Valley University’s Repertory Ballet Ensemble, where she performed ballet’s choreographed by Heather Gray, Brittnee Squires, Jacqueline Colledge, Nichole Ortega, Shayla Bott and others. In 2009, Rachelle began her professional career with Utah Regional Ballet under the direction of Jacqueline Colledge. In 2010, Rachelle began dancing as a principal dancer for Utah Regional Ballet. This last season Rachelle danced in roles such as Juliet in the full length production of Romeo and Juliet, The Sugar Plum Fairy and Snow Queen in the Nutcracker, and The Angel Pas de Deux in Hansel and Gretel. Aside from dancing, Rachelle has also enjoyed teaching ballet locally since 2006. Rachelle has been teaching the beautiful and talented dancers of Jacqueline's School of Ballet since 2011.
